The Dunk started life in 1985 as a college basketball shoe. Nike gave it team colours, sent it to universities, and called the programme "Be True To Your School" — which is why almost every Dunk colourway is still built around a two-tone block.
It should have stayed a basketball shoe. Instead skaters found it, then everyone else did, and the Dunk High became one of the most collected silhouettes Nike makes. The high cut is the original one — more ankle, more panel to play with, and a noticeably different look on foot to the Low.
Sizing
Dunks fit true to size for most people. The toe box is a little roomier than a Jordan 1, so if you're between sizes you can usually stay at your usual. Sizes listed are EU.
Every pair is checked
Inspected in-house before listing: box label against the shoe, stitching, tongue tag, insole print, glue lines. 100% authentic, guaranteed — if a pair is ever shown not to be genuine, you get every cent back.
