The 9060 is what happens when New Balance takes the 99X running lineage and lets the design team off the leash.

Released in 2022, it borrows the DNA of the 990 and exaggerates everything: a wavy, sculpted midsole, oversized ABZORB cushioning in the heel, and a layered mesh-and-suede upper with that warped N logo. It's the shoe that made chunky feel modern again rather than nostalgic — and it's been near-impossible to keep in stock ever since.

Sizing

The 9060 fits true to size but runs slightly wide through the midfoot. If you have narrow feet, consider going half a size down. It's a heavier shoe than it looks — that's the cushioning, and it settles in after a week.
